This pioneering Outreach Program has introduced a community defibrillator network of ‘Public Access Defibrillators’ (PADs) at strategic locations across the town.

Thanks to the Friends, Frome was the first town in the country to introduce such a comprehensive community-wide scheme. It allows 24/7 access to the PADs quickly in the event of a cardiac arrest situation.

The bright green wall-mounted units are located at 19 locations in Frome plus others around the area including the following villages: Nunney, Buckland Dinham, Chapmanslade, Trudoxhill, Standerwick, and Corsley Heath.
